★★★★★ Effective time controls, intuitive interface and easy management. This is the biggest reason I chose the Xbox for my kids.

★★★★★ This is a decent parental control app. There are a lot of outdated and subsequently inaccurate reviews here. The system works very well. My only gripe was when my son got an xbox voucher for his birthday. After adding it to his profile, the flow wanted me to pay from my account rather than using his voucher. Something buggy going on there.

★★★★★ It's great. I can see who their friends are and what games they're playing. Keep them on a schedule for screen time and kill the screen time when they are fighting with each other.

★★☆☆☆ This app used to be great, but after a few updates random things just stop working. I can no longer select a time range in the AM and can no longer select block for time length. I really wish the programmers would fix their self caused issues.

★★☆☆☆ Family settings don't work, when time-up is set it just allows you to continue playing.

★★☆☆☆ Parental limits often not enacted as set. Xbox app settings don't reliably sync/agree with those set in Family Safety app. Time keeping often inaccurate (by tens of mins - hrs). Lack of correspondence among Microsoft acct, Xbox acct, and accts for specific games/systems (e.g., Minecraft vs. Roblox vs. Fortnite vs. other) is confounding & unnecessary. Need to use parental acct info for some aspects of sign-on or settings changes & child account info for other parts of same operation is more so.
