★★☆☆☆ No matter what you do please do not use VRB they will help you with nothing in regards to a bad host or scams!!! I found myself in a huge scam from VRB host in hawaii and spent over 2,000 for a dirty room for just 2 nights!!! Insane, they refused to help with host. Just stay away and make VRB accountable for what they allow hosts to do, I had never been to hawaii but damn! I even have photos to prove it. This was at the ko olina resort

★★☆☆☆ Two and a half weeks ago I went to check into a property and the roof was partially detached and blowing in the wind. I was promised a refund and have not received it. I have spent hours on the phone with the call center, and they are now classifying the concern as "not a major problem." They told me that they paid the property owners and can't pay me back unless the owners agree. They can't reach the owners, so they are not paying me back. Not sure what the point of using a service like VRB.

★★☆☆☆ Verbo is not reliable. Booked through VRB only for the host to call me to inform that it had double booked. It is to update hourly but didn't. The cabin I had booked had already been reserved. It had hit my credit card. There was a no cancelation policy. I believe VRB was trying to get the money. The host did call them and instructed them to refund money. It was a harrowing process. Due to the diligence of the host, hopefully, there will be a FULL refund as it was saying only partial.
