Worked fine for what I needed, and that was to see devices connected. Then I updated, and now it says, "Viewing connected devices in the Shield app is not currently supported on your modem." So the app is essentially worthless.

1st, for what viasat charges for Internet service, the features this app are supposed to provide should be included. 2nd, the app quit working after only a couple of weeks. Does not recognize connected devices, including the one I'm connected with and using now. Shows a device connected that is 30 miles away. Forced stop then restarted, cleared data and cache, restarted device, rebooted modem, even uninstalled and reinstalled app-still not working. Time to "downgrade" and cancel shield "service."
