Vampire — Parliament of Knives

★★★★★ Really freaking good. At least on par with Night Road, even if it's got a very different feel. The characters and writing were well done, and I uncovered a ton of stuff on my second play through that I never even saw on my first. I have a feeling that my third run will see even more, so that's solid replay value. Let's address the elephant in the room:There are 3 clans to play: Nosferatu, Venture, and Toreador. While it felt a little limited at first, I gotta say that the more I played, the more I understood why. Night Road started you off in the middle of nowhere with very few connections, but in this one you're the child of basically royalty, and all the politics directly affect you. Certain clans just wouldn't fit just because the story wouldn't allow them to. That said, I'm really hoping for playing a Malkavian in the future if there are any updates. If you're a VTM fan, you should give this one a try.

★★☆☆☆ I HATE VAMPIRE MASQUERADE, .... IT'S TOO POLITICAL AND THE MASQUERADE IS OBVIOUSLY STUPID AND UNREALISTIC 😐😐😐 IMMORTAL BEINGS LIVING UNDER SOME GOVERNMENT IS EXTREMELY STUPID AND WOULD NEVER WORK.... I ALSO HATE THAT THESE GAMES FORCE YOU TO MURDER SOMEONE 3 MINUTES INTO THE GAME🤬😡....BEING A VAMPIRE DOESN'T MEAN I HATE TO KILL, ..... I WOULD LIKE TO READ A VAMPIRE BOOK WHERE I'M NOT FORCED TO BE A MURDERER

★★☆☆☆ I'm on chapter six, and I'm slightly saddened. It's just not the same. I don't get to purchase things and feel like I'm interacting with the game per usual, I don't get to choose where I'm going, choices don't happen as often and when they do, it's no longer listed as to what talents you'll need to tap into to make said choice. It feels more like the course your own adventure books from when I was a kid, less engaging and less like I'm really doing much. Which sucks because the storyline is decent
