Give this one a chance. The author was clearly very passionate about this story, and it shows in the writing. The characters are all interesting with their own personalities. The plot is well written, I found myself wanting to know more and more about the world. My only complaint is that I felt that my choices were sometimes limited to what my greatest skill was, but it wasn't too bad where it ruined it or anything. Overall a very well written story.
★★★★★
I think the story line is very entertaining and written quite well to pull you in from the beginning. The story itself does offer different possibilities, I made some bad choices and missed out on rewards from the Gods, so it's definitely not all the same. The book is now 1.99 which is an excellent value for the price. Someone obviously put a lot of effort into writing this, and I think it's well written and entertaining. The critics here are being a bit harsh in my opinion. There is a great deal of variety, I can be good at different things and choose different love interests in the story, and ultimately it is an awesome read. Give this book a chance.
★★☆☆☆
Really irked me that the mc didn't have a choice in participating in the trials. If the author wanted me to follow a path that's already laid out, and I don't get a choice in it then write fkn book dog. Story overall was trash 😋
★★☆☆☆
No romance, No choice at all just follow the path of the writer. Just a piece of _ _ _ _. I don't know how these things are approved by guys at COG. Disappointed.
★★☆☆☆
Absolutely let down by this. The story had promise, but it was poorly executed. The game was very linear. Other than making the other characters like you, your choices had almost no effect on the story. The romance was barely there. Plus, there were WAY too many characters to keep up with. With so many names to remember, the game became overwhelming, and I found myself not caring about anyone specifically. The idea was interesting, but it needs a lot of editing to be as good as some of the other CYA games.
