The Home Depot app is an exercise in endless frustration. Every time I open the app I have to log in again. And then, 90% of the time, an error occurs and I cannot log in. I have been stuck on many occasions without access to my Pro account. I have told them over and over and nothing changes. Really??

First time using the app in years. Not good. For starters no welcome screen. Have to start by signing in then selecting your profile or order history or payment methods, etc. then find your way to shopping. Get to my list and select an item and the page never fully loads, so I could never actually purchase the item. Apparently once I set up biometric login it got better at loading pages 🤦♂️

The clowns at Home Depot decided not to do two-factor authentication on sign-in from new devices while at the same time storing credit card information in customer's accounts. A hacker's dream when getting password dumps off the dark web, this app and website are great candidates for fraud. Then when calling customer service they don't want to own up to anything and tell you to call your bank. Thankfully my bank refunded me the money but man Home Depot should be ashamed.
