Simple and easy to use. I recommend downloading this app if you want a hassle-free par/lux meter.

Great app with a few annoyances. It consistently reads the light. I have an SF-1000. I use the 6500K LED, and it seems a bit of a low reading to me. If my DLI is around 18-19 at 16" from top of canopy (just under 80 on the knob), I get light burn. If I switch to daylight or r+b+w, it reads around 30 which feels more accurate. Would be great if there were more help setting that. As well, it defaults to 20 hours on, and I have to switch it to 18 every time. But simple and consistent!

The application uses smartphone camera to sense light and determine a value for PAR in addition to DLI. Everything worked on the first try, data is easy to read, and a small reference library of lights is included. The readings are similar to what I expected based on my own spectrometer readings. Good enough for analyzing hobby plant lights. Thanks!

Vpd calculator does not allow for accurate Vpd, no input for actual leaf surface temperature.

Not accurate at all compared to my brand new $500 apogee mq 500. Don't waste your time there is no accurate par meter with the android operating system! However, there is one using IOS.

Once it gives a reading it sticks there regardless where you move it. I found this common with every lux/light meter in the app store. The meters never adjust accordingly once you get under the light and move your device around unless you put it in the dark then back into the light. The fact that you put your device under a light source, and it gives one frozen reading in the app basically renders the entire app useless.
