★★★★★ I have been using Tasker for many years, since the Android 4.4 days. I am glad it is still around today. It and various AutoApps allow me to do things I can't do on other platforms. I have tailored stuff on my Android devices toward my disabilities in ways I take for granted now. But I know it isn't easy to keep up with changes Google makes to various Android versions. Kudos to you! Give it a try and stick with it. Once it clicks, you'll be amazed at the stuff you can do.

★★★★★ Developer was very responsive when I had an issue changing system settings with a task! The app MAY not be for everyone, but when you want to make something happen on your phone, Tasker is probably the way to do it.

★★★★★ I have been using Tasker for several years and find it extremely helpful to automate many useful tasks that other automation programs have not been able to. Although Tasker can have a steep learning curve, it is well worth learning and there is an active online community which is very helpful to find how to implement a specific action you want to perform in Tasker. The developer has also been very responsive when I have contacted him in the past.

★★☆☆☆ Very difficult to use. Interface is poorly designed.

★★☆☆☆ I want to like it, but it has too many issues for me. It has poor UI. Doesn't utilize the back button in some menues which is frustrating. It wants to always draw over apps' permission even though it doesn't need it for everything. Even when I search for it on my phone it doesn't find it as "Tasker", even though its name is Tasker. Some other things that I forget.

★★☆☆☆ For a paid app, it's lacking basic stuff, such as a button "short press" event. Example volume up long press is there, but not a simple short press. Even Automate has that functionality and is free. Please add it. Will update my rating if you add that event. Also give more love to the new UI, cause the old outdated UI look is terrible. I did enable the new UI, and it looks great when creating tasks. Just. Use that on every page, it looks so pretty.
