★★★★★ Awesome SPINE, in conjunction with XCSoar or TopHat on a smart phone (recomend Dell Streak) is fantastic. Esp if you setup the NOTAM file name to default to NOTAM.txt in the root of XCS folder. Then it takes just 30 seconds on the hill or airfield to ensure you have the latest NOTAM airspace, complete with XCS's excellent airspace warning system, right there in your hands. SPINE once setup (also easy) is reliable & fast, every pilot should have it on their phone

★★★★★ Truly awesome Would like to be able to select non-gliding sites as home airfield e.g. Lydd or Enstone

★★★★★ The new Google permissions mean Spine is unable to save notams.air to ../XCSoardata. This removes that integration for now. I'm looking for a Tasker routine...

★★☆☆☆ Fatal Error - Failed to download data files. Spine must close... Worked previously?
