It's awesome just take a picture of your book page and choose a voice to read!

I've been using Speechify for over a year, and it's been absolutely fantastic. Easy to use, nice UI, great selection of voices (especially the more recently added AI enhanced ones). My only qualm is a very strange bug I've come across. If I use Speechify and then exit the app (like fully close the app), any media I am watching or listening to will randomly pause here and there every 5-10 min or so. Sometimes 30+ min. I have to force stop Speechify in order for it to stop. Very odd.

Don't download. You're better off reading yourself. 1. The 3 free day trial, you can't choose a voice, it forces you to use 1 voice and that's it. 2. It's jumping around on the page, so it will be on line 5 and jump back to 2 words from line 4 and then go back to line t not making ANY sense when you're just trying to listen to it 3. Its skipping whole words as if they are not there at all. 4. It's acting as if the signal is bad, sounding like the words are cutting out. 5.$100 a year for poor quality.

U have to take pictures of every page not just the front cover like the adds say to have it read to you

Being honest tried this app to read a book (you've reached Sam) and just gave up because I had to retake a photo of the same page multiple times, it wouldn't scan the text properly it would miss multiple sentences and at one point it didn't even read half the page. Honestly, I'm visually impaired and just want to enjoy some good literature. If you're looking for something better try "seeing AI" and actually scans stuff fully, and I was able to get away further with it then with speechify
