Just completed my first three flights with Sky watch drone insurance. Activating and paying for the insurance was unbelievably easy. The app is very easy to use and seem to work very good. As for filing any claims or collecting on any claims I have no idea how smooth that would go, lets hope that NEVER happens. The Drone Insurance prices I think are very reasonable, I went with $500,000 coverage for 1 hour 1/4-mile radius with my 10% discount it was $6.30 definitely peace of mind and well worth it.

Doesn't cover drones. They refuse to cover home built drones. What a joke app. Sorry, but you don't belong to be called a drone insurance company if you don't allow home built drones to be insured. Stay away, they are just here to take your money. Edit: States in the guidelines of the policy, "Use of any drone under 55 pounds, and is not home built."

Used to be good value...but now that they are switching internal providers they are doing away with the good pilot discounts. I was getting 40%, but that's gone...despite being a good pilot and never needing to use their services. Not a good idea to crank up the costs during an economic time period such as the one we have. Time to shop elsewhere...
