★★★★★ Awesome app. Good UI, free, and it auto-downloads new crosswords. My only complaint is that the crossword downloading happens on the main thread, so the app locks up until crosswords are downloaded.

★★★★★ A true crossword puzzle fan's crossword app that is also good for casual crossword fans. Unfortunately the New York Times and some other sources have stopped supporting the .puz format which third-party apps such as this can use. That is not an issue with this app; it is an issue of greed or misguided cost savings on the part of the sources who already get paid for subscriptions. Purchasing the product is no longer enough unless of the users of the product can be tracked and contained.

★★☆☆☆ Used to be a great app. Carried the LA Times and Wall Street Journal puzzles and the UI was very friendly. The LA Times puzzles disappeared a couple of years ago and now the WSJ puzzles are gone too. The UI has been glitchy for a while but the good puzzles kept me coming back. With the loss of the really good crosswords, it is time to uninstall. Too bad!
