Season of Tree : Forest Epic

★★★★★ For older kids and lovely art - When I test drove this to look for dodgy ads, sneaky in app purchases or inappropriate content I was nonplussed. Like so many others of these supposedly carefully tailored educational interactive stories, I was surprised to find yet again encouragement for kids under 8 to be wandering about alone in foggy woods - This time I was soon interacting with a fully antler ed deer, a swarming bee hive and for some reason a dodgy looking toadstool thing in the top left corner of the screen. It's lovely to look at and use and my older neice will probably enjoy it but I'm increasingly concerned about the people who are claiming expertise in child psychology and education. Fortunately my neice will only ever be using her aunt's tablet when surrounded by family ad some supervision.

★★★★★ Great app but.... Great but to many things locked if the other things are unlocked for free then i will give 5 star! but I'm not saying the game is bad!

★★☆☆☆ Too frustrating, too short My 5yr old found it difficult to work out what he was supposed to do so needed constant parental help. It took me a while to figure out parts of it as well, especially on the circle of life (my son sat there watching, bored). Once you get going the puzzles and journey don't last long. Over in about an hour and a half. Not a game to play again and again. Ambitious theme, sadly falls a long way short in game play and education.
