ResearchGate as a website is good, the app is not: there seems to be no efforts being made to improve it. For example, I've been unable to download full texts from the app for months due to what seems to be a bug: the download pops up but immediately fails. This has not been fixed and seemingly never will be. This function works without issue from the browser. I'd suggest sticking to use the website via browser.
