This is a wonderful app that is compact and simple to use. So far I have used it to photograph and take videos of my bird feeder. I tried to take time lapse of my backyard during the day (trying to track sunlight to see the best place to place my potted plants). It works, however it takes individual pictures. I request that in addition to individual pictures, the app allows the pictures to be "stitched" together to be played back as a film (have both individual pics and time lapse movie). I can see using this mode on my bike ride. I can see other uses for this app such as using on road trips, monitoring my front yard and even watching plants grow. Thanks so much!

This is a good app, but it does not work as well as it should for my purpose: I am using it to take photos of a LED screen that turns on occasionally. The problem is that the camera does not have time to focus because the photos are taken the instant motion is detected. For my use case, there needs to be an option for a time delay after motion is detected. The photos are coming out blurry, and I can see that the camera is taking the picture before it is in focus. It needs a 2 or 3-second delay.

1.it crashes on wide angle with lg g5 when it sees movement 2.make it to also start recording when there's voice 3. There should be a setting to not take photos because when it takes first photos then it doesn't record and loose many details. 4. There should also be an option on how long it should still be recording when the movement is gone instead of sensor inactivity. Actually I'm using it in the car to see who puts up the sweepers in the back and then while there's movement it stops recording

I had high hopes for this app. I had it set to 24-hour mode (at max resolution and video archive max size not limited). I changed the settings so that it would save videos in 15-minutes segments to my Google Drive. My phone was on a tripod facing the window, while charging. It ran for about 11 hours, and saved none of it. It's not in the app's video archive, not in my gallery, and not in my Google Drive.

One Star....because I cant see how to get the "Full" version of this Phototrap app so that you can enable the SMS/MMS texting features and receive instant messaged photos from your phototrap cell phone????

Works OK. But I cannot turn off alert sound. It does not make a sound in camera mode. But alert sound goes off in video mode.
