News 📰 is grouped by topic headline from various sources. This is my favorite news 📰 app. It is great on Android v8, but I had crashes on latest OS. I wish I could include independent news 📰 sources like Scheer Report and Consortium News 📰.

The feature I like the most is the listing of headlines without details. If I want to know more, I'll click on the headline. Customizable topics enables you to read headlines that are of interest to you and ignore the rest. Dark mode makes it a very useful app for me. Awesome. Thank you for your good work.

I've been searching for a new news app for about a month, since my previous favourite 'Simply News' was discontinued, and this gives me just what I want. The option to view different publications version of the same news item is really good. Being able to add categories is great.

Since the latest update, there is no longer an option to close the ad at the bottom which is covering the 'accept cookies' button making the articles unreadable as they're hidden by the cookies pop up

I have revised my review now. Sadly for most news sources this app doesn't work anymore because this app doesn't support JavaScript and most new sites have cookie popup screens that can't therefore be by passed. Combined with the fact that most videos are not playable means that this killer app is no longer viable. What a shame, it was my most used app.

Using the filter feature is a bit of a pain having to type sources in EXACTLY to get them to work, but in general all has been smooth sailing for a couple of months. In the last week, however, it started acting buggy; blank feeds, loss of place when tapping back after reading an article (returns to first category no matter where I was reading). And why show articles from days, even weeks before? I thought maybe I'd missed an update, but nope. Bummer. I really liked this app when it was working.

Many stories repeated mutiple times on same feed. Normal text size too big, small is too small. Random stories have bold headlines, distracting.
