Finally, I can have local contracts. I have 2 phones. The main phone has local contracts that I use. My with phone did not. Then all my with contracts were showing up on my personal phone. So I deleted them only to find out they were removed from my work phone as well. Thanks to this app I can finally keep them apart. Its sad phones don't let us do such a simple thing. But I'm glad this works. Using Moto G Fast phone

Thank God this app exists. I don't want to share or upload my contacts to Google, or link them to my Gmail. This app lets you select a local account as the contacta storage device, so you're not forced to select a Gmail account. Thank you developers!

It has been a great app. It has also worked for my calendar, but the problem I have is I cannot export the Local Account data to import into the new phone, how can I do this? The calendar I use is calendar, and it relies heavily on synchronizing and there doesn't appear to be a way to export from the Local Account in the calendar to import into the calendar on the new phone. I thought Local Account only worked for contacts. Please help.

Exactly what was missing to end violating my contacts' privacy violation (feeding Google /w my contact data).

It was perfect, until all my contacts were deleted without warning. Best I can figure is that restarting my phone on safe mode a day ago somehow wiped the contact data (since all apps are disabled during safe mode). But, safe mode killing contacts is a major flaw, if that's the case.

I would love to try this app, but I can't find the icon to open it. It's in my list of installed apps and I reinstalled thinking this would allow the icon to appear. If anyone has any idea why the icon is hidden, I'd appreciate a suggestion.
