I've been using My Movies for years. They're always responsive to reporting missing titles, and ive never had any data crashes or movie collection losses yet! If you have a good collection I'd recommend paying for the upgrade. But not necessary if you have a smaller collection and just want to keep track.

You made it impossible for me to upgrade to the new version, and you want to charge me a subscription per month? What was wrong with having only one fee to have the new version!?!

Just a FYI on this app. I have had the Movie 2 and Movie Pro. I updated for unlimited movies. Although you already paid for this, you will be charged again when they decide to upgrade their app. Because this app does not state that new versions will require a new subscription I rated it a #1. Outside of this, the low rating out was a helpful app.

This app used to be reasonably priced. A one time fee and you were good to go. For the cost, putting up with incomplete titles and incorrect artwork was not a big deal. Now, the fee costs more and it's yearly. Community members can "contribute to the profiles" to update their collections. Well if its community member based, and I have to update my own collection, why charge for the service? And the response shows how they feel about loyal customers. Cancelled subscription per response. Thanks.
