Excellent for testing device support! Motion Cam app tries really hard to support all phones, but not all phone manufacturers gives access to the RAW video stream(s) for their different sensors. Also note that performance of your device play a key role in how well Motion Cam will work, and performance is directly tied to the phone's ability to keep cool. I recommend this app, try burst mode for pictures! Companion besides pro version to keep in photo mode, for easy access directly for burst/photo

Unusable on Samsung S21 Ultra. Screen locks up after a second, or two in any mode. App descry says it needs a high-end phone. This definitely is & it doesn't work. Snapdragon processor, Android 12. Update in resp to dev: What the hell is discord? Guess maybe I'm not cool enough to use your app. In response to developer: you reply 2 yrs later & want me to try your new version? No. And stuff Discord.

Unusable with my Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Although the UI is functional, the video and photos come out as a low contrast negative. The DNG sequence is OK, but only 30 frames output so not much point. The app also doesn't work with the photo grip, which I half expected but is another downer. Given the quality of the native camera app and the video output it is my considered opinion that there is little point in struggling with a cantankerous app so will be uninstalling it. Sorry.
