Absolute game changer. I have had mine for over a year and a half. They still work great. It took some getting used to before I just trusted the process. I sear, probe, and put it on the grill. No more lifting the hood to check. If you're looking you're not cooking. Perfect steaks every time. Do yourself a favor and don't buy the 1 or 2 probes buy the 4 probe model...you'll be happier.

4 pack Meater pro. Bast probes I've ever owned. I've had these for almost 2 years. My only problem is with the app. I cook (and probe) multiple potatoes. I cook to 205 to 208, as all potatoes are of different sizes. Problem being that one potato will cook through to 208, while others are still 200. I turn off cook on done ones while others continue. Problem is, overcook alarm goes off on done potatoes, and I can no longer view undone potatoes. No way to turn off alarming potatoes.

Does not work with Android phones, barely connects with iPhones. When I purchased it originally it was $60 and now the price is going up, and I hope the performance has gone up as well. It just sits in my drawer useless...and sad.... As am I because I have to open my smoker and insert a traditional thermometer. Things that shouldn't be. 😭

Once the app loses connection to your phone, it will never reconnect unless you start over everything from scratch. Also, hours after a cook you cannot close the app without replacing the probe to the cradle and RESTARTING YOUR PHONE (android). Focuses alot on non-function stuff, very little on telling what the temp is.

The App got the Meater block set up but can't communicate with the probes (yes the phone and the block are on the same network) which is the whole point of the app. I have tried it 4 times. So I guess I will need to return the Meater.
