App fine, hardware the issue. Used to control some Wi-Fi bulbs. You need to put bulbs into programming mode, but the included instructions are wrong. To reset the bulb: Switch on for 10 seconds, Repeat the off 1 second, on for 1 second procedure 5 times. On fifth time you'll notice the bulb flashes once and then, after about 5 seconds, starts rapid flashing showing program mode. App works fine, as does the integration with Alexa - just add the smart life skill and rename the bulb for ease

A great product. I'm currently using 3 Maxim smart light bulbs downstairs to Great effect. I've linked the lights to my Alexa. I also use my Maxim app. Lights on and off as I choose. Works every time. Great price compared with other brands.

App and bulb won't work together. Don't bother with this pricey spyware.

Rubbish. Doesn't connect to the bulb, the bulb never flashes. Taking it back for a refund. Don't waste your money

Bought a smart bulb, the app connected to it for a month or so then disconnected. It's been about 4 months now with no connection to the app and there are no help sections in the app. I'm never buying another maxim smart product after this. The bulb is now stuck on dim light and has to be binned.
