Our extender, the 760-AC model, had stopped working; kept saying "Failed to Obtain IP Address." I pressed the Reset button while device was plugged in and turned on (a bit tricky), did what the app instructed, and it's back to working perfectly. Note that I didn't see anything in the manual about the Reset button, but I saw it on the device, used my brain and trial & error, and solved the problem.

OMG, can this app get any more confusing.? ... "Connect your mobile to the network "Wi-Fi Repeater", then press the checkmark ... "Wi-Fi Repeater" does NOT come up at all in my Wi-Fi list . I have the Wi-Fi Repeater connected directly to the PC via the RJ45 port, my modem is connected to the PC via Wi-Fi connection. WHY is the setup not working.? Grrr... Answer please!

Same problem as Mr. Flex Brown: Maginon Wi-Fi 753 extender is piece of JUNK (the app AND the physical item itself) gets one star because can not give it any stars." I give it a big fat 🖕!" Oh, it'll read the Wi-Fi, but it will tell you "no connection". If you see this message, save your money for a REAL Wi-Fi extender made in the USA instead. I tried installing and re-installing the software 5 times but no luck to make it work. What we should expect from Made in China. I purchased it today and return it tomorrow to get my money back
