Be very careful in selecting Lufthansa for flights from India. My wife and I had a harrowing experience on our Lufthansa flight LH 755 from Bangalore to Frankfurt. The inordinate and unexplained flight delay of 2 hours, missed flight connection to the USA, operational Lufthansa service centers at Frankfurt, rude and unhelpful staff, poor quality aircraft (747-400) all added up for a horrendous experience.

All travelers really want is a simple app that: 1. Knows your bookings once you've logged in and stays logged in. 2. Push notifications for important events like check-in available (if you're not already checked in), gate for flight, gate change, boarding, delayed, cancelled etc. 3. Can work offline once check-in status is done, because you may not have internet access at the airport, and as a minimum should display cached boarding pass and current booking details. This is still not that app.

Flown with them twice, both times they've lost my luggage. It's now been 5 days in poland and my luggage is still missing, no help from Lufthansa
