★★☆☆☆ I was looking for an app to learn German with text, this looks promising... But there's no translation when you click the word! Or anywhere! One has to either copy the word or use another app to translate. Pointless! Which is a pity, because the stories are ok. Edit: yup there are now translations of the whole sentences, but you still can't check meanings of the exact words, like in many other apps.

★★☆☆☆ This used to be an amazing app for listening and reading short dialogs in German. However, they have made some drastic changes which has lowered its quality. I feel that having the English alongside the German doesn't allow me to learn new words naturally. If I don't know what a word means, I reread the sentence and learn it by context. Also, it would be much better if read by native speakers, it would be much better than machine read. And the bright colors are really distracting in dark mode.
