★★★★★ You get to learn the strokes for each kana, I'm actually learning how to write them, and I'm practicing every day. I can remember what I've learned too.

★★★★★ Excellent app for learning kana. I like how this app shows proper stroke order for each kana. I use another app, Kana Dojo, in addition to this one because the other app has a quiz feature. This app is great because it shows stroke order, allows you to practice each kana, and orally discrete the proper sound of the kana.

★★☆☆☆ Intrusive full screen ads within seconds of evaluating the app. Is there an option to pay to get rid of them?

★★☆☆☆ It's ok for studying but kind of boring. Tests aren't customizable and don't end so if you want to practice a few specific characters you can't and the writing doesn't let you practice by tracing the characters. There are 4 areas to choose from, 2 of them and one of the tests are the same thing, 1 is just a chart, and then the test part which is just 50+ characters in random order to identify or write.

★★☆☆☆ The app gave me wrong information. It thinks the katakana for zu is zo.
