This has been a very helpful app for me during my time in Japan. It gives you what stations you should ride and at what time, including the station name in Japanese, Fumigant and Romaji as well.

I can't imagine traveling with my JR Pass without this app. You do need tobset your preference to JR Pass and set time at, or before you wish to depart or arrive. Once you do, it will not only show which trains to take but all the stops in between and whether you need to also get a reserved seat ticket. I would type in my departure and destination points and then take to a train station ticket office and show them my JR Pass and my app, and they would then give me all the necessary tickets.

WHY DID YOU REMOVE THE LOST OF THE TRAINS STATION ON THE ACTUAL ROUTE? IT'S REALLY CONFUSING! PLEASE RETURN THE OLD VERSION!!!

There doesn't appear to be a way to prefer JR. the JRP switch doesn't do that. The back button eagerly exists the app, instead of going back. The search results could do with more possible routes. There is no clear distinction between JR trains, and non-JR trains.

It stopped working a year ago. It is still not working after a re-installation. There is an error message "Cannot obtain information" every time I search for something. I paid the premium ticket. This did not help.

Can't even selects which types of trains to use. Pretty useless. The Japanese apps are much better with so many options, walking speed, change over options, fare options, etc. This one is pretty useless. Same results as Google Maps would give.
