I have used JDW for several years as part of my open source data gathering. Jane's articles tend to be leading indicators of things to come. For example the article on how a "Runner's App" is identifying the locations of U.S. troops and bases. Also, the article; Russia sees foreign hands behind Syrian misfortunes discussed swarms of UAVs be used in the attack on a Russian base.

Mostly seemed for subscribers only, whilst most apps these days have at least some free content. When I tried accessing any issue of JDW through the read more link, I got an error message. Navigation is also really poor. Such a bad app for such a prestigious publication.

Deeply flawed app making it almost unusable. Usually hangs at startup saying 'Building templates, please wait' and never progresses. Even if an issue is open, I jump to another app and return, it returns to the Building templates screen, rather than just displaying where I was before.
