Just the basics. Stopped using BBC news after they updated the app to the point I couldn't find the content I wanted. Itv keeps it simple, it's the headlines and the news in your local area. Easy to use, doesn't mess about.

I'm seriously considering uninstalling ITV News app because of Roberts Prestons biased articles & the article today about Sue Gray's exit & what Preston said about Keir Starmer has made me nearly certain. Instead of reporting, he's pulling Starmer apart on other things instead of just reporting facts.

Local news is miles off... Tried this following the rotten July update which ruined the BBC News app but sadly the local news it offers is geographically anything but so uninstalled...

Privacy terms including cookies are all or nothing - accept everything, or you cannot use the app. Suits me, other news sources are available.

Very poor content curation. Home screen can't be edited by users and repeats multiple "news" items three or four times under different rubrics, despite there only being about 30 stories to read in total. Some rubrics are static for several weeks, simply filling space with old stories. Not really a source of news, more an afterthought, as if ITV felt it needed a news presence on the web but couldn't really be bothered to do it properly.

APP now placing ITV News "What you need to know" podcast onto my home screen every time I access the News via the APP. Rhis is unwanted and is not what I need to know but rather someone at ITV thinking I need to know it, which is wrong. I have notifications blocked for ITV News in my settings vut the APP just ignores these settings. This has only started happening recently. Will uninstall if KTV continue to push thier own agenda onto my phone.
