Intercom App Type B

★★★★★ Works great with clear audio and video. I installed this system with a JO master station and two JO door stations. The video is clear, and the audio works great on both ends. This was a very economical solution, very easy to install and set up. The mobile app was easy to set up and very straight forward so very little training was necessary for the end user.

★★★★★ I was fairly annoyed when I looked at the reviews, so I expected a poorly performing app. So far the app works as expected. It works over the Wi-Fi as well as the cellular network. No complaints. There was an update on December 15th that probably fixed a lot of people's issues. You all should consider updating your application and trying it again. Also, there's a firmware update Make sure you update your firmware

★★☆☆☆ Very disappointing. I spent AU$730 on upgrading a perfectly good JO series station (JO-1MD) to a JO-1MDW so that we could use smartphones to respond to house callers on our intercom system. Using Wi-Fi on the home LAN and from elsewhere on the Internet, I can answer calls, although it takes nearly a minute for the app to load the video of the caller. However, the monitor in the app would show "connection error" when selected via mobile data on my Samsung Galaxy S9+. My wife, however, was able to use the iphone app via mobile data. I have had no reply to a request for technical support to iPhone Australia a day ago. Update 5 February 2020: After the latest change to the app, it now takes 8 minutes for notification after call from the door station. Updated 20 February 2020: after deleting and reinstalling app, notifications within same LAN took less than 30 seconds.

★★☆☆☆ Only seems to work (Monitor & Recordings) when my phone is on same home network as the intercom.

★★☆☆☆ Barely ever works. Most of the time it loads forever and then nothing. If you get a call it will notify you but never connect to show any video or audio, or let you opne the gate. The interface is 90s style top. Just terrible, and a waste of money on the wall device with this non-functioning app. Please fix this horrible app. Wasted too much money on your useless intercom without a functioning app.
