★★★★★ This is one of the best apps I've encountered for learning Mandarin. I highly recommend it! I use it in several ways: 1) to practice my listening comprehension & pronunciation, whilst going for a walk, I will set it to repeat sentences in Chinese (in levels I've been through) 3 times, repeating after each time. It's really handy that I can change the delay settings and number of repetitions, and I also really like that there is a female and male reader. 2) to practice reading.(ran out of space)
★★★★★ Easiest way to learn Chinese for a Cantonese speaker who doesn't read or write Mandarin Chinese.
★★★★★ If you feel the gamification of language learning apps has gone too far, try this one. No daily goal requirements or level-up systems, no cutesy animations or sounds, no notifications or pressure to subscribe. Just a good set of lessons you can access in any order and practice with for as long as you like without distractions.
★★☆☆☆ Tbh it is a good app I liked the lessons and the theme everything about it was simple the way I want, but I didn't like it when I found out that to learn other levels I need to pay. So I deleted it.
★★☆☆☆ The app is solid so far, but the subscribe option shows 3 options but only the most expensive 3rd option (lifetime access) is clickable.
