I think overall that the app simplifies the shaving process. I like having it pointed out to me an easier way to get the job done. The app seems fairly complete. It would be even better if there were more razors in the product list. However, I was able to find new razor in the list that I might like. I would recommend this app to anyone wishing to improve there shaving habits.

A lot of people seem to be under the impression that this app is for controlling the groomer. NO. It's a style guide and information/education app. With the style guide, you take a selfie and it then lets you preview what different styles of beards, stubble, mustaches, and combos could potentially look like on you. The hair color matching is limited but you can get a basic idea.Just remember that getting good results takes practice, don't expect to look like the model on your first few tries. The information side of the app is typical for what you would get out of magazines and web pages.Lots of how-to's and advice on grooming and hair/skin care. Is this app essential for using your trimmer, shaver, groomer, whatever? No, but it is useful for learning the basics and best practices. Unless you're already a hair guru extraordinaire, you'll probably learn something. Four and a Half Stars. It's not much beyond a selfie app and a collection of web pages but it covers the basics well.

All of this just to change the settings on my razor? That process by the way doesn't even seem to work. Access to my photos, my location, jesus do you want to know if I'm circumcised or not next? I paid just under 200$ for something that became a gigantic pain in the ass. Purchase any other brand but this.

Not able to load final looks. after waisting time taking pic, selecting suggestions etc ...it keeps loading the proposed looks forever and not even able to show them or reset and go back to the beginning. you have to shut down the app. don't waste your time

Let me get this straight. I have to download this app and create an account, give Phillips access to my photos, etc, so I can change the settings on my razor? What kind of moronic company puts Bluetooth in a product that doesn't need Bluetooth and forces me to provide them with login and personal information to I can use all of the features of a razor?? Think about the complexity you added to a simple product for absolutely no benefit to the consumer that only provides marketing info to you
