This is a great app whether you walk or drive. Get miles (which is what the gem-like currency in the app is called) for travelling. If walking, get miles for every 1000 steps. Driving fills the distance tanks. Walking does too, but slower. Be sure to change them into miles before they're all full. If you do a lot of walking/driving, this is a great app. Haven't had it long, and already got one PayPal reward. There are several cards you can exchange your collected miles for. And they work.

This app told me to sync with Google Fit for best step count results, which worked for months. However, recently I've been getting an error message from my Google account saying that GeoSmile was trying to access sensitive information, not offering the option of enabling permission. I can't tell whether GeoSmile or Google is to blame for this problem. I wish I had the option of syncing with Samsung Health instead.

Step counter does not work at all. Not with Google fit not with temporary settings. Doesn't seem like anything is being done to fix it. The battery drain is also inexcusable

Loved this app until it stopped counting my steps. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.... but it won't let me type in my Google account. There's an account that came up that is not mine. I had over 251,000 gems/points. Would love to be able to get back in to my account.
