There is no app that correctly identifies a rock by picture! If this is the reason for you buying this, just stop. Again. THERE IS NO APP THAT EXISTS TO CORRECTLY ID ROCKS BY PICTURE!! The amount of one-star reviews on here bashing the developer for this is hysterical. I have yet to even use it, and I can tell just by looking at it this is for someone who really wants to advance to the next level! As long as there aren't any bugs, I can't imagine how I would not be pleased with it!

This app is a must-have for geology students. It doesn't replace your classes, but it explains the basics perfectly and has so many tools to help you identify the rock you are working with, and of course its minerals and crystals, all put together in a really good way. It also has different types of charts, diagrams and geological maps, as well as 3D modeled crystals and rocks, so that you can compare them to what you have. Perfect app to work with, either at home or on the field. Great work!

This app is a joke. I took a picture of a rock, and it told me it was a bunch of different things. And just out of curiosity, I took a picture of a cardboard box and told me it was a rock and gave me a bunch of minerals list lol. I want to cancel my subscription. I hate fake apps, especially ones that make you purchase before you find out the truth of it. Why can't people just be honest? I'm very disappointed. This is just another lesson to not trust anyone no matter what, I should have known.

No zoom, no screenshot, no print. Without these features many of these public domain charts and figures are not usable or legible. Why lock up this functionality? You don't own the copyright to any of them. Most are available on Wiki Commons. I don't mind you charging for your labor as an aggregator of content. I think it is very arrogant of you to restrict these useful functions. You defeat the purpose of the app by restricting this functionality.
