★★★★★ A few adjustments to the app would earn it five stars. As it is now, it's still quite fun, but it takes a bit of a learning curve to understand the app. The change in the movement is great for the stroke, but not the sparking. You can tap the arrow on the zoomed-out map for the stroke and the sparking, but for sparking, you cannot adjust the direction of the ball. Next, the app does follow the official gateball rules in the default settings. You can adjust a few parameters to get yourself up to speed. The difficulty in understanding the app and the rules (and rule adjustments) is that the text was clearly written by a non-native English speaker. Some of the rules are not clear, and thus the player will be surprised when their stroke is declared by the app to be a foul shot. The developer did a great job and it is quite like playing a real game of gateball. Just allow the left-right arrow adjustment of the spark shot and also have the text reviewed by a native speaker and I'll happily adjust my vote to 5 stars!
