I've been using this app as my music player for several years because it's simple and folder based rather than playlist (which I can't be bothered to make). Problem is about 4 months ago I lost the ability to display and begin playback of songs through it in Android auto. It worked fine prior to that, but now the only way to use it in Android auto is to start playback on my phone then open Android auto. I can then skip, pause and play using my audio controls, but not select songs on the screen.

This player works well for me. I like storing music via folders, nice and organized. A MAJOR bonus to me is that it plays (virtually) any media file in the folder as audio. So, I can keep music videos where they would logically go (at least logical to me) and it will play them back as if there were straight audio. The only reason that I'm giving four stars is that it sometimes hangs, but this *may* be my files.... looking into this.

Listen I like the app buuuutttt u have loaded all audio on n my cell in 1 shot. To play just what's in chosen Folder = which is why the app is chosen OK! To play just what's in that folder... Don't won't you stealing music I made... Or by a Leak!!!

Unfortunately, this app is useless on an Android car head unit that can ONLY be used in portrait mode. You can't get past the intro screen due to the continue button being hidden outside the screen, and you can't scroll to it.

App no longer shows MP3 files after Android 14 update. It only shows folders, which makes this app not fit for purpose. 1 star until fixed. No excuses from dev accepted.
