It's definitely gotten better since I started using it, but I have since moved from using Mastodon as my main Fediverse platform to Fire fish, and the web app for the main instance is so smooth and pretty. The Pedicab UI just isn't quite there for me, but it is my main backup app because of the features. For example, Fire fish's implementation of following hashtags (Antennas) is wonky. I'd rather have them in my home feed like Pedicab does. So I go back and forth depending on use case.

The app works well enough, but I really don't like the UX/UI. I wish some of the tabs at the bottom could be removed I wish the profile banner and icon and be smaller I wish the profile icon could be circled and not just square. The big one is the removal of the tabs. I come across way too much porn. Swiping into the public and local timeline. So much gay porn it's crazy and it there a way to block NSFW from showing up at all?

I just want to share my photos with hashtags and see when people like them. Currently, hashtags don't seem to display ANY messages. I've installed NTFS, but I never get alerted when folks star my photos. I can't see how many likes a photo has in the app. I reached out on what appears to be the official support forum and received no response. I like that it supports multiple accounts from Mastodon and pixel fed, but it just doesn't seem very useful.
