Great camera app. Works fine, and you can even turn the phone's screen off.

Works for both camera and microphone. I have one small issue, however. If I disconnect Droid Cam from the PC and/or close it on my phone without opening it first, it will close, but the Droid Cam notification won't go away no matter what (exit doesn't do anything) until I reopen the app, which removes the notification automatically. Note that my phone has 4 GB RAM and phones with higher RAM probably run it in the background more actively, so the issue might not occur everywhere.

For some reason, after years of working great, I've suddenly had horrible audio quality when using my Droid cam as a microphone. I switched to a different app with the same functionality, and immediately got much better results. Not sure what they broke, but they clearly broke something in the app.

This might work for others, it doesn't work for me (Samsung S23+ and Windows 11 24H2). I just got a blank droid cam app screen no matter what I tried. I found I could more easily use Microsoft's Link to Windows tool to accomplish this task without ads or frustration.

It only gave me a device IP instead of Wi-Fi ip like the one shown is the demo pic. Therefore, i wasn't able to use it as a network camera.
