★★★★★ This app is simply amazing. Very simple and easy to use. It makes life easy especially when you run a small business. Highly recommended. You can add your invoices, receipts (both given or received) literally in seconds. Photo or PDF works great, I think it may support other formats, but that is what I use. It is all connected to my accountant, and they can see it all which is great. Definitely happy with Dext!
★★☆☆☆ We have used Dext for years; now each month even though I have paid it blocks me out, and I can't get to the source of the problem. Have been emailing dext for a week now and they haven't helped. Unfortunately the timing is terrible with over 60 invoices to push through and not being able to get an accurate P&L for our monthly claims each month. Time to look elsewhere I think
★★☆☆☆ Used to work perfectly. Now it gets stuck on 'extracting item' until I delete the app and reinstall
★★☆☆☆ Useless customer service, and non-integration with "billable expenses" settings in QBO. Items flow through to QBO marked as billable, but do not apply our default QBO markup %. So we have to manualy go back and adjust each bill in QBO...unclick the billable box, click it again, save & exit. Contacted customer service, was a waste of time. They responded like this was a novel concept to apply a markup % to a billable expense, or that their app should INTEGRATE with the settings. Use Hub doc
★★☆☆☆ Changing to a new device creates awful problems with 2fa. Without the QR code you cannot obtain a new account login for your Authenticator app. The help page is predictably unhelpful, after wading though page after page, there is still nothing to be found. Their special backup code are useless too, with the hundreds of passwords and backups required these days it's really impossible to keep track of something like that across different devices that often change
