Nice app, works well. I don't think the app itself uses battery to check the location, it's only even the phone updates its location anyway that the app will update its location. I wish that it was quicker/easier to know it work out how to color the correct map components. (One thing would be if the currently selected color was shown on the color wheel where you choose what color you want.)

Wants to share my location with 3rd parties? Google just informed me that the permissions have recently changed and that location info can be shared with 3rd parties. Uninstalled, pity as it was my daily wallpaper.

It's a pity that the app is so unstable... 😢 After some 2 years I uninstalled Cartogram. Reasons for doing so: 1. Settings get overwritten spontaneously: every few days I had to redo my preferences. The live wallpaper with photo got replaced by the map, as the app switched to the dark theme by itself. Trying to set the dark theme to the satellite pic didn't work. 2. The zoom level didn't stay at the level I set it at. 3. Wallpaper updates are often way behind. Maybe I'll try again after a year.
