The email app is really impressive in many aspects such as automations and bulk actions. However, the AI feature, which was the main reason for downloading the app, is quite disappointing. It's not very effective and often requires rewrites. The AI can only provide simple yes or no responses and doesn't handle the nuances of email communication well. Hopefully it will get better. * Copilot, which I use extensively outside of this, has improved. They now instruct you to provide more detail.

I use the apple version as well as the android version. I have an "other" email address works perfectly on my iPad but on my Android I try and delete and email from this other email account. It comes right back within seconds. Not sure why this is, but this is the only email app that does this on Android. I have tried most of the other email applications and dobt experience this in them. I have tried support, and they didn't seem to be able to help. Hope it gets resolved someday

18 Nov 23: surprisingly for a paid app, no access to my emails anymore for more than 3 weeks, although support team has been contacted (request #25872) and several other known (and free) email clients work properly. In one word : unreliable. Updates: on 11 Dec 23, still no news from Canary Mail AND the 2.25 version does not change anything, still no connection. On 4 Dec 24 (v2.69): still no news from Canary, no connection at all, no access to mails.

So it was good at first but then kept getting slower. I would filter it for unread, and I would open every email and sometimes read them, but it would still show as unread. I marked them as read, but they still came back as unread. I delete most of them and then refresh, and they'd show up in the inbox instead of trash.

Don't like the fact that you have to subscribe to the pro version. Don't like the lack of customization. Ugly interface. Most of my Gmail stuff wasn't moved across. Uninstalling and looking for a better email client
