Bus Detective

★★★★★ ///Pros/// Bus Detective has been dead-on to the minute every time I've used it. The Favorites feature is nice for quick access to locations you frequently travel to/from. ///Cons/// There's no nice way to say this - the UI is ugly and uninviting and would benefit from a clean, familiar interface. My other issue is with how the routes are labeled - Inbound and Outbound. If you are unfamiliar with a route it can be confusing figuring out which way is which.///Overall///Even with the ugly interface this is still a must-have for Metro riders. Once you get comfortable navigating though and using the app, it can be a nice alternative to or replacement for Google Maps Transit info.

★★★★★ Accurate and reliable Presumably, there have been updates since past reviews. As of 12/2016 I have been using this app for six months and am impressed by the accuracy of its arrival estimates and very pleased with its functionality. Good work, Gaslight.

★★☆☆☆ I have reinstalled several times. I only see the buses that come to my stop but no information on them. No real time information at all. I click load more and nothing.

★★☆☆☆ Not updated to real time. This is often no better than a bus schedule. Where are the real time data updates? Works sometimes but not consistent.

★★☆☆☆ Unreliable App I have been giving this app a try for the past week. I have found the real time information to be less than reliable. Twice, my bus (3x) was five minutes earlier than the app said. Often, the bus is behind the real time information (which is acceptable to a degree). Also, the app often has trouble connecting to the server, resulting in no information being displayed.
