Arsenal and the app are good for amateur photographers that want to use a tripod and have an app to assist to grab better photos. Arsenal shines for waterfall photography and sunrise/sunset photos. I've had success for other nature photos as well. There is a bit of learning what Arsenal works well for and scenarios where it just doesn't. Arsenal also requires more time to set up and some patients, but you may get some great photos with it. Really wish they would add the pano feature they promised.

Love the Arsenal 2 and the app other than two things: - The app doesn't work at all when disconnected from a camera. It'd be great if it would at least let you download photos/time lapses and update the firmware without having a camera attached. - The app fails to connect to the Arsenal 2 if I'm connected to Wi-Fi. Other apps like Nikon's Snap Bridge just override the normal Wi-Fi connection to communicate with the device. This app just fails to connect until I manually disconnect from the Wi-Fi.
★★☆☆☆
Fairly disappointing product. Backed the Kickstarter. Most of the features are included in the camera, so I have been very interested in things beyond that. There is a feature to remove people from scenes, long exposure night photography and panoramic. Most of these don't work or aren't out after more than a year. Tried to take pictures of the stars and the arsenal drops Wi-Fi and won't even show up if searched for. I have to reboot the device to get connected, then it drops out again.
★★☆☆☆
STILL no Panorama despite the Arsenal blog assuring it would be released in October. Handheld mode doesn't work for Fuji cameras, which was NOT disclosed until after the Kickstarter ended. Focus stacking is completely unintuitive - you should be able to select a start and end point, not guess how many steps you need; it's also unreliable even in ideal lighting. Settings are poorly documented, which becomes useless considering you can't even view the user guide while connected to the Arsenal.

It's February 2023 and the Android version of this app has not been updated since May 2022 and still at v2.0.33. In the almost year since I last update, I have upgraded my Fuji Film X-T3 to a newer model with still no support for X-H2, X-H2s or X-T5 which were all released in 2022. My Arsenal 2 continues to sit as a paper weight without support for the current camera line-up of most major brands. That doesn't mention that the long promised Pano mode is still not available to Android.
★★☆☆☆
Sluggish development, riddled with connectivity issues, and the 'beta' they have been teasing is still not available. General bummer of a product.
