★★★★★ Works nicely, easy to get to different sections and articles. Crosswords are much more fun in the app than on paper.

★★★★★ Nice local news app. Two critiques: 1. It would be great if web links to Times Union would open in the app by default like other major newspaper apps, since the web authentication expires frequently and this is not a password I keep at the top of my mind. 2. Sometimes it seems like the ad CDNs hold up the article content from loading. On my work Wi-Fi network most articles won't load because there is network-level blocking of many advertising CDNs.

★★★★★ A few too many ads, some of which superimpose themselves over content, but otherwise, this paper is well-written, conscientiously edited.

★★★★★ Great news coverage, especially on Albany politics. The number of pop-up ads, many of which obscure the content until you close a window, is really annoying. I've paid a subscription fee and resent the relentless ad barrage.

★★☆☆☆ I get stories through Google, which I can't read, and it tells me to subscribe to TU. I have a subscription. Then I try to find the story in the app, and it's not there. Also, there are stories that are several days, or weeks, old in the app. I want today's news!

★★☆☆☆ I now get split screen tu with ads on half the page. Hate it. Biased and dishonest news coverage. Decent local and sports coverage.

★★☆☆☆ I have to relink my subscription every time I go to a different article and can only find the lead information, not what I am looking for.
